Amateur Hunter Captures Gorilla-like Creature on Camera

Kentucky Bigfoot or Plastic Bag?

Just days after the circus surrounding the Polish Yeti videos we have another purported Sasquatch caught on film.

Kenny Mahoney, an amateur hunter from Kentucky, captured the image of the “creature” from his automatic camera setup in the back garden of his home.

While going through images of rabbits and deer, Mahoney noticed a humanoid creature that doesn’t look anything like the State’s known fauna.

“It looked like it had the outline of a head, and like gorilla type shoulders, and then the arms crossed is what it looks like to me,” Mahoney told a local news station.

When asked for an explanation Mahoney told the reporters “my brother-in-law said it may be a garbage bag blowed up in there, but all the smashed over vegetation in there-I really don’t know. I have no idea what it is.”

Mahoney himself is skeptical that the image shows a sasquatch but is stumped at what else it could be. The image has now been sent to a wildlife expert who specializes in black bears.

Early comments on Wave 3’s story suggest the object is simply a Crow caught in mid-flight. What do you think?

your right its a crow watch monter quest it was on last weeks episode.
  • I did an enhancement and outline....it's definitely a crow flying towards the feeder in the foreground of the original photo. It may look like there is a plant in front of the crow at first glance, but it is really a space between the wing and body as the wing is flapping downwards. Since a motion sensitive trail camera was used, the bird was captured quickly. If this was a garbage bag, or a bigfoot, it would have been captured by the camera's motion detector nearer the edge of the video.
  • Yeah it looks like a garbage bag to me. Very disappointing.
  • They should post the photos of the other wildlife that was photographed and compare them to this to calculate the size of the object, that way we can debunk the Crow theory.

Maybe it could simply be an real gorilla, that escaped from its owner.

At first I thought the crow theory seemed pretty reasonable, but if you look closely at the photo it appears that there is some sort of flower or other type of plant in front of whatever this is. That, to me, sort of does away with any possibility that it could be a crow or something else small close to the camera. Whatever it is, in comparison to the vegetation in front of it, it looks pretty big.

I can see the image you describe, although I feel if you look at it again you will that "The Flower" is the background vegetation viewed through the the feathers of the crows wings in the down stroke position. While I can see almost every possible description I have heard and /or read, I am convinced this is a crow. The fact that there are additional photos by the same photographer showing several Crows feeding around the yard. I would LOVE this to be a Sasquatch, but I am afraid it is not.
  • uhm... it has NO FACE. Then again plastic bags generally do not have faces. Now that would be a story!
