I think that is pretty weird that the bible says that snakes were punished by god and lost their legs. Snakes evolved from reptiles that had limbs, this much is already theorized, in fact some have small stubs where the limbs once existed

Just wanted to say how much I am enjoying your podcast. Very recently stumbled upon it while looking through "science" programming in the iTunes store, and I am quite glad for the discovery. As someone who has always had a great fascination for all things eerie and paranormal, the informative and entertaining way you present the content (without being altogether biased) is really a welcome change from the in-your-face broadcasting style of many out there. Listening to each episode is like meeting up with some old mates around a campfire every week, eager to share their ghost stories with one another. It's a fun, thought-provoking, and comforting experience, all at the same time.

Keep up the mysterious work.
Duane (New Jersey, USA)

Thanks for the feedback. We just thought we'd try that out for that particular article as the narrator's parts and the witness' parts were so sequential.

Re: Former helicopter pilot watches low flying UFO over home

Smell of space:

"'When you repressurize the airlock and get out of your suit, there is a distinct odor of ozone, a faint acrid smell,' Jones told SPACE.com, adding that the smell is also similar to burnt gunpowder or the ozone smell of electrical equipment. 'It's not noticeable inside the suit.
Love season 2 so far. My only gripe - which is extremely extremely minor - is with the reading of the stories. Specifically when Ben & Aaron split them up (ex: Disappearing Girl story).

I get drawn into the story/report a little more when one person is reading it instead of the switch at each "paragraph" from Ben to Aaron or vice versa. The narrator switch just feels a little jarring and "takes me out of the moment" a little.

It might just be me b/c as I listen, in my head I'll think "OK, that is Aaron talking" or "That's Ben speaking" as I'm getting used to telling your voices apart

That said, I like the conversations between you two about each story/report in the show.

I agree that the photo is suspect. The story clearly states that the woman beat the snake to death, but the snake in the photo appears to be alive. It is not just lying limply on the ground, but seems to have living tension keeping parts of it off the ground.

I watched a show not long ago on ...The Discovery Channel/History Channel or one of those channels about reverse engineering dinosaurs from chickens. That's right. They figure that chickens are closely descended from Dinosaurs and that dormant traits can be "reawakened" through manipulation of the genes. These traits include tails, body scales and teeth.....in a chicken. So perhaps this could shine some light on the snake with the claw. A genetic fluke that allowed a dormant gene to come forward and develop in to a long lost trait.
