China’s Yu Zenhuan, the nation’s undisputed “hairiest man”, was only 2 years old when his parents first noticed abnormal amounts of hair growing from his ear canals. Over the years his condition worsened and now thick hair covers nearly 96% of Yu’s body.
But Yu may still have a chance of living a normal life, and is now undertaking laser treatment to have his hair removed. For the treatment to be effective, every hair on his body will have to be zapped individually with a laser.
