I told my ex-secret service grandpa that I wanted to go into journalism for the paranormal recently. He is a believer and witness to many strange things, but his response was very pessimistic "That sounds more like mental masturbation than work, unless you have something to offer to the field."

Guys like Mac Tonnies are the reason I'm so inspired to swim around in this field.

I'm sad he's gone, and I didn't even know he existed until he was gone and dead.

Thanks Amelia, I have heard a few of his interviews in the Paracast, and several of the regulars there as well as the podcast hosts were good friends with Mac either via internet communication or as personal friends.

He always was such an interesting guest and very rational and reasonable, as well. For a great variety of reasons, he is a person who has made a mark and will be missed. It was nice to share that email interview with us.
