After going into hiding last week it seems the UFOs were back in full force for this week’s episode.

Argentina, Peru, and Chile saw numerous sightings with hundreds of witnesses, and a woman in Pennsylvania continued to capture impressive footage of gravity defying craft.

We also look at more Black Eyed Kids tales, the failed disclosure date, and a vague Bulgarian whistle blower.

I grew up right ouside of Deale, Md, and I assure you that for such a tiny town, it has more than its fair share of creepy people of an earthly nature without adding black eyed ones. That grocery store in particular is a mecca for those of questionable intentions.

now I shall be epicly paranoid whenever I go home for a visit.

  • Si

    beam of light through trees… it's a normal lazer…. not a scifi one :D

  • Our Local Hero

I checked out some of the videos that Alison Kruse posted on youtube about her Pennsylvania UFOs with lazer beams; I have to say they're pretty cool. But, I looked down at the comments and many people made the claim that she is living near a US army Apache Unit and that she is actually capturing the helis with her NV camera. They are also saying that the “lazer beams” are actually the IR lazer systems used by the helis for range detection and weapon system. This kinda makes sense to me.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKTWmzLJxY0
I watched this video and noticed that at 4:27 the trees underneath the object light up, does this support or eliminate the idea that it could be a helicopter?

  • Our Local Hero

Yeah, so I watched several more of these PA lady's videos (she's pretty funny btw) and in this one
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rKJAxNC5PPs at around 3:00 she mentions these “streaks” and I have to agree, they look like “orbital drops” to where these orbs are near the ground. Haha, I have no idea what the hell this lady is filming. It's pretty interesting stuff.

  • http://www.facebook.com/vojtech.balaban Vojtech Balaban

I'm not so sure about the helicopter IR laser system explanation. If you look at 1:05 you can see the line of light pass in front of the tree branch. Given how close the tree is that object would need to be very small, smaller then a helicopter (not to mention so close that its running lights couldn't have blurred so completely).

  • http://mysteriousuniverse.org Benjamin Grundy

They could be helicopters. In certain parts of her videos however they seem to make directional and speed changes that may be hard for a heli to pull off.

Like we mentioned in the episode, there are parts of the footage, perhaps even the majority, that could easily be written off as conventional craft. You have to watch a lot of the videos to find the “anomalous” movements… which admittedly can get pretty tiresome. There's only so long I can stare at lights on a youtube video ;)

I'm trying to get in touch with Alison to see if we can have her on the show for a quick chat.

  • comic sans

    cool :)

  • sadlyrational

I hate to be like this, but couldn't the “beam” of light be projecting upward? (Someone on the ground projecting the light upward, for whatever reason?) Maybe Alison should get some friends to search the woods next time she sees this happening….

Aaron, you mentioned that Mars was a “scorching 150 degrees Celsius”. Mars is actually generally -128.89 degrees Celsius at the poles and a whole lot more warmer at the equator at about 5 celcius. So it's actually bloody cold, you would expect this as it has almost no atmosphere and is further away from the Sun than the Earth is. Just a small mix up I think :) .

WOW great episode you guys, the videos in this page r awesome…now I won’t jump in to conclusions that they were straight up UFOs but they do lean more to that they are UFOs since I can’t really tell wat they r… I do like how u guys say stuff like Eat A hat and the funny situation of up looking in the moons and thinking MU was about space…brining laughter to the show makes the show feel more alive and more connected to the listeners…Please don’t get the assumption that you should get funny material..I would rather hear the great stories you guys find than a joke…Also sorry for not saying something about the events that you guys talk about but I no expertise in them nor do I go looking 4 the answers myself

… Anyways you guys r very awesome and I can’t wait to hear of you guys again

Great show guys I really enjoyed it in particular the segment where Aaron mentioned the stickmen. It gave me the chills as soon the story was mentioned it really reminded me of this video i found a long time ago, while not black they do have that one dimensional figure and odd stick shape. check it out let me know what you guys think? thanks for the splendid show!

Being a “skeptic” makes you arrogant. It annoys me that scientific arrogance like yours blinds you, and jumping on a site like this to throw in any discrediting tid bits doesn't help your cause. Listen to what I was saying, I was referring to scientists predicting Mars potentially being that temperature over 16 millions years ago.
    Article 1:
“The possibility that the rock contains fossilised microbes received another boost in August when a team led by Paul Niles, also of NASA Johnson, showed that carbon in the meteorite was deposited in balmy water conducive to life, rather than a scorching temperature above 150 °C as had been proposed previously.”

    Article 2: http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn17712-bal
“Some argued that the carbon in the meteorite could have been deposited in very harsh conditions, involving water at more than 150 °C. Even the hardiest known terrestrial microbes die above about 120 °C.

But a new analysis suggests the water involved was cool enough to allow for life, which at least keeps open the possibility of fossilised life in the meteorite. The study was led by Paul Niles of NASA Johnson. Neither he nor any of the other team members were part of the 1996 life claim”

  • http://www.facebook.com/vojtech.balaban Vojtech Balaban

Whats funny is I also remember interpreting what said the same way that Skelliot had…though I was on a loud subway at the time so I probably just heard it wrong.

At least the above clears it up for me too.

  • http://www.youngausskeptics.com Skelliot

    Hey Ben,

Which video exactly are you talking about? I looked through a few but couldn’t see these movements. Also, I kinda stopped looking cos looking at hte same thing over and over was a bit boring :P . It would be great if you could post the specific video as I am lazzyy :P .

    Cheers

  • http://mysteriousuniverse.org Benjamin Grundy

How many of her 30+ videos did you watch? I get the feeling people are just quickly looking at the one video then making up their minds. Again, the majority of the footage looks like planes or helicopters.. look for the anomalous movements though.

I don't usually comment but I found your opinions on aliens visitors a little confusing. To be specific, I thought it strange that you thought it plausible that aliens could have the technology to make artificial human bodies with the only flaw being the eyes, but yet could be incapable of accurately duplicating the flashing lights of aircraft. This does not make sense. Any being capable of recreating a human body in artificial form would be able to reproduce the simple light combination displayed on any commercial aircraft.

  • JT

Black eyed woman? Just thinking of those things gives me the creeps.

  • http://www.youngausskeptics.com Skelliot

I initially thought they were lens flares too, but they are too consistent for that. I feel as though they are planes and helicopters too, the night plays tricks with light so it could be this. Some videos how ever really threw me off.

I have no explanation for some of these videos. I would really need to know more before i pass judgement.

About the Cattle mutation why is always just aliens or Satanists? It's almost like the Ufo proponents want to set up a false dichotomy. I got another explanation, natural death, insects eating the soft parts of the body.

It was a cool story though, I only wish we could go to mars tomorrow and find out for sure.

Hi Aaron, Ah i see i must of misunderstood.

Listen to what I was saying, I was referring to scientists predicting Mars potentially being that temperature over 16 millions years ago. “

This was not warranted though. I was merely just trying to point out a mistake, not discredit you? I actually don't disbelieve that there is microfossils… I was just trying to point out what I thought was a mistake on your half.

  • http://www.youngausskeptics.com Skelliot

I thought he was saying that it was balmy 16 million years ago as opposed to todays “scorching temperatures”. I obviously misunderstood. Not a big issue really. :) Just trying to help.

At first (after just watching the videos linked above) they looked a lot like hellicpters to me. But I took BG's advice and watched a whole lot more of them, and now I'm convinced that they are something very strange indeed. I'm not, however, impressed by the “pretending to be an airplane and not doing a very good job” theory. This feels like like sloppy conjecturing. It doesn't look like they're worried in the least about being observed (personaly I don't think the occupants of ufos for the most part give a crap about being seen or not seen) If it is unfamiliar technology (alien or otherwise) then we really have no basis on which to theorize on the meanings of the various light and sound emisions.

  • matthewnk

I would recommend listening to Benjamin's interviews with Linda Molton Howe in which they discuss cattle mutilation at length. There are many, many aspects (including laser precision, as mentioned in this episode) that rule out any known natural process.

The first video, although could have some possibilities, also have airforce bases within flight of there. Just because the govt says an airbase is not in use, does not mean it is not being used.

Coming from Long Island, we had grumman here and lots of secret testing, vibrations and other strange things growing up.

Later I was told by a family member worked for grumman that he would chuckle when people would complain when “heavy trucks would come by & shake the house and rattle the windows” More like turbines he would say. As an adult I think about how big that truck would had have to be to shake the houses like that (late 70-late 80's). Today, Northrup Grumman is said to be gone, although you cant go down certain roads! Whatever.

She was keen to catch it on tape though. Love to know what it is or what we have that other countries don't-yet.

Still doubt any credible govt person esp the “Bama” will come out with anything. Good chance if Joe Biden knows he would gaffe it out. That i bet could happen.

I have listen to it, and she doesn't have a clue about what she's talking about, when the animal dies the gases in it's stomach expand to the point where the stomach rips open the animal's belly allowing insects and their larva to go to town on the soft organs. Besides Linda Molton Howe buys anything to do with ufo's you can send her a out focus video of a street lamp and say it's a ufo abducting a cow. Oh wait never mind that's already happened.
