Introducing Mysterious Universe Plus+

 

Aaron and I have been planning this for a long time now and are both extremely excited to finally launch our new membership service, Mysterious Universe Plus+.

With 13 Season 2 episodes under our belt, and a smooth production schedule in place, we felt we were more than ready to start putting more content out on a weekly basis.

For the full rundown on what Mysterious Universe Plus+ is all about, be sure to visit our Plus+ info page. In a nutshell we offering extended versions of our existing weekly mid week shows and extra full length episodes released on the weekends.

We’re also looking forward to exploring different types of content in 2010 including video (uh oh I need to start jogging!), field investigations, and extended interviews.

    Also, I was thinking that perhaps there could be a forum for the MU+ crowd? I can understand why you may not want to create one, but I like the idea of being able to talk about the shows with other listeners and to discuss other relevant topics. Just a thought.

    Unlike some here I got on the MU bandwagon late. As a matter of fact, the wagon had stopped before I ever hopped on. I am a paranormal podcast fanatic and I just happened to find one old episode of MU and I not could not believe how good it was. That first episode started the quest to find more. I found just enough to verify that the one I listened to was not a fluke and that it really was the best podcast on the net. Only it wasn't on anymore. I spent hours and hours trying to find more MU and it quickly became an obsession. I called on the phone, I put advertisements in newspapers and on the back of milk cartons, I stapled fliers on telephone poles. What had happened to MU? I hired private investigators, I quit my job, sold my family, pets, and belongings and spent all my time and money trying to find happiness again. I listened to every podcast out there trying to find that podcast paradise that I had only glimpsed. I found some podcast that were closely named, or had the same subject material and I even listened to one with a guy that sounded similar to Ben. But nothing could fill that void that losing MU had created. I was doomed to live out my existence in this Benless dimension. Stuck listening to preBenders and Benwannabees and there boring non-goofy accent sounding voices. I was forced to settle with unedited tin can sounding podcast and none of the great MUsic tracks that I had grown to love. The world was a dark and dreary place.

    Then came the email that changed everything. MU was back!. I was so excited. The sun seemed brighter, the air smelled cleaner, the planet felt a little cooler, and even the birds seemed to be singing with more glee. I will admit that I was not happy to hear there would be changes. I liked Ben and the show the way it was. I liked Ben's style and goofy accent. I liked Ben's ideas and opinions which happened to closely mirror my own, he thought like me, he was brilliant. Why did we need this Aaron guy? How dare he intrude on my podcast? What if he had a squeaky irritating voice with no accent? What if he changed the MUsic? What if he was a government spy or an Alien implant? As it turns out though Aaron is great too. He does not have a squeaky voice and he also has a goofy accent just like Ben! The two of them together are like Ben squared, or Ben to the second power. And I do not think he is a government spy. Alien implant? Maybe, but who cares as long as he is makes a great podcast even better. So anyway, hell yes I am in on the plus deal. I sent the money the first night. Keep up the good work guys and people out there show your support by joining with me in becoming MU+er's.
