Ben returns from his past life regression to share tales mixed with frustration and views of the cosmos. A very different experience to Aaron’s.

We also return to UFOs this week with new sightings and reports, along with an exclusive eye-witness interview of a black triangle spotted over the Grand Canyon.

For Plus+ members our extension contains ghost trains, occult encounters with entities, and claims of “proof” that life continues after death.

Read on for show notes, music, and video.

LOL… I think everyone might be a bit tired of past life regressions after this ;) We are looking forwarded to going out and investigating other topics though. Currently trying to convince Aaron to fly to Peru and take hallucinogens in the jungle.

The conversatiion you two guys (I am very bad with remembering names so forgive me as I continue) is PROFOUND to me, because it is right on the thing of what i am researching about. namely the way that eastern techniques of meditation seem to block out thought and imagery, often called in Mysticism 'The Negative Way'

I think that I prefer –not the Positive way, but the negativepostive dyanamic whole way

Ie., when I 'meditate' I 'ALLOW' thinking and imagination (I dont block) as being my very BEING rather than feeling guilty that I should block all of that energy–usually called 'negation' in eastern mysticism, eg., listyening to the flow with the aim of negating it. For images are wonderful–the world, nature is full of images–real images, and our imagination is interconnected with all that –so encourage this wonder is what I would encourage
learn NOT to block, but to open to and embrace

Lmao. Ah zeus. Funny you mention that. My cousin in Ecuador, used to be a part of Peru, tells me ayahuasca is all the rage now with the college kids. So, Aaron, handle business! D: And tell us what it's like. lolz.

    Hey aaron,

You could be right. But ever since I was very young I have had a very over active mind. It is very hard for me to relax etc.

The outcome that occurred is the exact opposite of what I wanted. I wanted the regression to work, it didn’t. I was upset about it because I really wanted to experience the effects. I have no doubt that it is a real phenomenon, whether you actually go back in time or not is something else entirely. I don’t think this should have any bearing on whether I am able to be hypnotised or not.

I am not sure what you meant about my mindset.

It depends on the person. Some people would like to “quiet” their thoughts to gain a foothold in their own mind. It's like the old motto, don't let the mind be dragged along by the body, and don't let the body be dragged along by the mind. But with that said, i'm also sure there are people, gurus/shamans/yogis/ordinary joes, who “meditate” to encourage these stimulating visualizations. I simply believe in a balance. That's me though. An opinion from a fellow member of Earth. Thoughts are natural. Do what you gotta do to find your “own” peace.

I recommend reading “The Holographic Universe” By Michael Talbot. This book is his legacy.

I loved that “erg” sound Aaron made when you read out my chocolate dream, made me laugh.
I must be a glutton for punishment, though, as tonight I'm trying a cheese dream.

I'm also going to be booking a past life regression pretty soon, hearing about both of your experiences has made me curious.

    Hi Guys,

Loved the episode yet again. I have my own past life regression on TODAY. I am a bit worried it won't work as I think I might be similar to Ben. Although I have trouble not following thoughts and I find it hard to become relaxed.

Anyway I wanted to make a comment on the Suns Corona article you guys covered. You mentioned that some of the round spheres were reflecting light, but I noticed one was reflecting light the wrong way. Maybe they could be digital artifacts? I really don't know what they are and I think it would be best to ask an expert because I would love to find out what they are!

    Cheers lads. Good work.

I love how poor Aaron is always the one thrown under the bus first. Past life regression? Spend the night in a haunted house? Fly to Peru to take ayahuasca? Sounds like a job for Aaron!

Just kidding guys. I am becoming quite addicted to these podcasts. They get better each week. Can't wait to see what you guys try next.

Hey guys! Checked into the Sun's corona pics on the NASA site. The link below is the exact frame referenced in the blog referenced in this episode. The objects no longer show up. BTW, this is from the STEREO program, twin satellites orbiting the Sun from opposites sides. Hoax or cover-up?

Just offering an observation not a criticism. Don't you think your mindset ensured it wouldn't work? Did you really expect it to work or did you get exactly the outcome you wanted?

I'm going to try to visit Murrysville and check out these balls of light (I'm right in the area of Pittsburgh)… Allison just added another video and I have to admit.. I'm curious. I'll keep you informed.
The thing that really has me curious is why in the world she become the brunt of so much trouble for uploading some videos??

  • VikkiTheViking

Cheese dream was a bust. I know I dreamed something, but I can't remember it. I do get the feeling that it was tedious, though, so maybe that counts for something.

  • bbird

The interview where the pilot describes a morphing object, in my opinion, is something like this morphing drone being experimented with:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=toSIpL7b_NY
To me it looks between an F117 and B-2 shape and it folds/unfolds. Could it be something like that? Can you ask the interviewee?

The article describing the amateur astronomer taking photos as good as Hubble and comparing their costs (suggesting that who needs expensive telescopes like Hubble) demonstrates that the person writing the article has no idea about what he's writing about. Agreed that the photos are awsome and I wish I one day will have half as good equipment and take half as good pictures but having to gone through hundreds of similar photos they are not unusual compared to others I've seen from other amateur astronomers who built their own observatories. Comparing Hubble to an 8″ telescope (regardless how good and expensive it is) is just ridiculous. Hubble does science and its results combined with other instruments on board rewrite text books and our understanding of the universe, amateur astronomers mostly take awsome pictures.

Keep up the good work guys! I like your shows. That past life regression sounds was very interesting.

  • http://www.facebook.com/vojtech.balaban Vojtech Balaban

I think I know what he means…well at least this is what would most likely be the problem for me. I would want to be have the regression so much that those thought of wanting would block the actual regression.

I've always had trouble falling asleep when I really want to because my minds always checking “am I asleep yet?”. The only way I manage to fall asleep on those days is to try and think about something else entirely and not about the proses of falling asleep.

Maybe that's what your problem was, just try to create images associated with the hypnotists words instead of thinking about if the regression is working (if you plan on trying again).

  • http://www.youngausskeptics.com Skelliot

    Hi Vojtech,

Yeah that is pretty much it. When he is telling me to relax etc my mind is going “im as relaxed as i can get” so when he goes “every time i say this word you will get even more relaxed”, my logical brain is saying “what is more relaxed? It isn't possible to increase my relaxtion”.

I also had trouble visualising what the hypnotist was saying. He would say “you are on a sandy beach” and like Ben, I had trouble internalising if I was meant to be seeing it in 3rd person view or from my own view, and those thoughts really threw me off.

    Gah, stupid brain :( .

  • azzwright

No need to put yourself down mate, you don't have a “stupid brain”. Clearly you just weren't used to the type of relaxation required. Perhaps it was also the hypnotist or the ambient noise.

  • Nicole

Haha — soon we'll have footage of Aaron eating his hat … only joking

  • Nicole

I'd love to go to Stull Cemetary …

  • Jim

I had a friend who had many ghost and spirit experiences both while awake at night and while dreaming or what she later realized was astral projection as a young girl and her parents didn't tell her there were no such things as ghosts. Instead, her dad put a model cannon in her hands and said that it was given to him when he was a child and it was a “ghost cannon”. Just holding it and having it near would protect her from the spirits. She had it in her room ever since and never had another encounter while in her room.

  • Abeam

Yeah the Bushman thing is old but extreme in its way. It made my jaw drop 1000 times.

  • http://www.life-is-good.com.au/ Living Hypnosis

Vojtech Balaban is correct. You can often get in your own way when you want it so much. The skill of the hypnotist is to overcome this. Also, skelliot… the craft of the hypnotist is to work in a way that these issues you mention would not be a problem… past life regression is easy.

  • Tikki

Amazing show guys! I especially enjoyed the MU emails! Wow! They were just amazing! I look forward to hearing more of those! I got goosepimples when you were reading the part about hearing someone/something on the bunk below him…eeeee!

PS: Loved the email about the chocolate dream! I've often found that milk based products give me the strangest dreams… I also believe listening to MU before bed will also give you strange dreams…talk about dreaming about being regressed into past lives!
