Your mind will likely be doing back flips by the time you reach the end of Season 3′s finale.

Our tales of stalking Sasquatch on Airforce bases seem mundane in comparison to the the later content. We’re talking StarGates and Death Stars people. Look out.

We will return to regular free programing with Season 4 starting on the 16th/17th of June.

Here are my thoughts on the video. First, why is it that we are seeing it second hand? i.e. we are watching a video of a video. The source video should be up for us to look at as well, not this weird second hand thing. Second, I call hoax because it looks like a marionette walking to me, and the quality is so awful because it's nighttime CCD that if they were using strong fishing wire you would never see it. It looks like a blanket with a couple of sticks underneath being guided across the yard. It reminds me a lot of the ghost zip wire setups that used to scare the hell of out me at Halloween when I was a kid, but slower. At one point I actually think I DO see the wires on one of these things.

The more I watch it the more I think “hoax” just because if you watch it closely you see the movement is ONLY in a straight line FROM the street toward the house. If you watch the video of them in the daytime you can see that there are very tall trees on the other side of the fence on the sidewalk side making it ridiculously easy to set up a wire between the street and the top of the house, string this thing along it, and just weigh the feet on it to give it this penguinesque type of walking gait.

I would be shocked if some enterprising teenagers couldn't reproduce this video in almost exact detail with less that $100 in materials.

Now THERE are the myths I want to see Mythbusters hit. These types of videos. To see if they can recreate something like this. Sounds like a great idea for a TV show to me. :)

I know this second part is a little late, but I meant to send it last week. In my relationship I am the person on the other side of the sleep paralysis thing. I have had my own incidents of it, but they are few and far between. My wife, on the other hand, has not sleep paralysis, but waking walking dreams. And they are not fun. I can recount more than a few of them, but some of the standout ones are (1) her sitting straight up in the bed and asking “What is this? What's this tree? Why's there a tree here?” I slowly wake her up and she explains that she just saw this big tree in front of her and that it was odd; (2) two different incidents that specifically are both about choking. The first choking one I remember was her jumping out of the bed with her hands on her chest making terribly hacking sounds saying “No no no no!” and then after I am able to wake her up she said she was dreaming that she was choking on knitting needles. Specifically she thought she was choking on the connected type of needs that people use for socks and sometimes for sweaters. She knits a lot and I don't recall at the time if she was intensely working on a project or not. The second choking one that was almost identical with another item is practically a rerun of the knitting needles but with cloth diapers instead, as she has been spending a HUGE amount of her time researching cloth diapers for our 21 month old. She work up, again, out of the bed, walking, bent over and saying “No no no no no!” and I slowly wake her up and she explain that she thought she was choking on one of the diapers.

To me, these things are very much like when you play Tetris for hours straight. You get your brain in a particular narrow set of references with all of your concentration on it and backing out of it doesn't happen fast enough before you go to bed or fall asleep and then you find your mind is still physiologically processing the same way it was when you were awake. Now, the “choking” part for my wife has to do with her being a stomach sleeper and if you're body isn't positioned correctly you basically can cut off your breathing or make it very hard to breath and your body reacts. I have had similar dreams when I have caught myself sleeping on my stomach. I don't have a history of the sleepwalking part, though, just dreams about trying to pull weird stuff out of my throat because I can't breathe properly and then I wake up and I'm on my stomach in some weird position and can tell I can't breather properly.

I have personally had more “Tetris” brain and other “new thing” brain before and found my sleep patterns all screwed up because of it. When I was first very excited about buying and getting new computers I would spend HOURS playing with a new computer or a new OS version (I'm a Mac user, btw, so I am already leaning toward the visual end of the spectrum for computer use) and then when I would finally go to bed that stuff would just STICK in my sleeping consciousness and I would not sleep properly even though I was tired. I would sleep, but it was this weird afterimage of the obsession with the new computer or OS in the visual foreground all the time. Very, very weird stuff. I've never attributed it to anything supernatural myself since I have basically had the same experiences when I take particular cold and flu symptom relieving drugs (they really screw with my ability to drop into deep sleep).

Great show this week. Am I the only one that is nearly as excited about the possibility of their being an all music filler next week as a new show? :)

Hey nice show! The white stick aliens movie is quite old but cool! Keep on going!

I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be snarky or glib, but during the A'Shayana Dean soundbites that you played, I just kept thinking she sounded like a paranoid schizophrenic. I am not a mental health professional, and so my opinion is not based on anything academic, but she seemed to fit what I have always believed a paranoid schizophrenic to sound like. Out of touch with reality, full of fantastical rantings…a world that seems to exist nowhere but in her own mind. She does not seem to be able to offer any sort of proof to support the existence of these fanciful ideas she talks about, and so from where I am sitting, this whole world she has created seems to dwell nowhere else but in her own mind. It certainly makes Kerry Cassidy appear to be somewhat gullible if she has swallowed this story on nothing but Dean's “say-so”.

holy cow…look how long smallerdemon's comment is! I couldn't even read the whole thing. I'm waiting for the Cliff's Notes on that comment baby!

Ben and Aaron, you guys earned your $9 this month with that cooool stick figure video!

  • Nick R.

Okay, just an idea, but ever since that story you guys told I've been dying to hear more about the STICK MEN. Prehaps this could be another sighting of them?

If I were to fancy a hypothesis about their behavior it's that we're not suppose to see them, that would explain why they're so curious when people see them that they follow them or why they'd lacksadaisly cross a person's yard.

Thing that crys fake to me about the video is the cut to the aliens face at the end of it. Immeadatly I was like “screw this” and stopped it because well, it's just to scare you.

Hahahaha! Only read the first part, then. The second part is a LONG bit about me describing my spouse's sleep paralysis / night terrors stuff.

My assessment is that the video is fake based on (1) my own experience as a kid (Halloween zip line ghosts), (2) marionette style movement of the “creatures” and (3) straight line only movement of the “creatures” from the sidewalk to the house (there are trees on the sidewalk that are VERY tall that you could string zip lines from).

Wow – you're totally right, Ben. The amount of product and the insane prices for all the merch on that woman's site is a HUGE red flag. I always feel that when New Age material is based in fear, it's hugely suspect…which is one reason that there is very few channelled sources that I find interesting and worthwhile. Everyone seems to have an agenda, and most of the time it's making money.

I mean, if she was just covering materials costs, I could forgive that. But you're totally right. She says this info is vital for our well-being, but yet expects everyone to be able to shell out thousands and thousands of dollars for the priviledge of being saved. So I guess the only people who are going to open the “right” stargates are rich. Awesome.

I have to say that she lost me way before you talked about the fact that she has a whole business set up around her teachings, when she mentioned “thetans” in one of her rambles. I mean, I guess if you're going to come up with some overarching mythos that utilizes every belief system that's ever been invented, you might as well throw Scientology in with 'em, right? *rolls eyes*

I came to the info very open-minded – but it got waaay too out there for me real quick. LOL!

On a lighter note – my Rolfer (a type of bodywork) fully believes that I was abducted by aliens while in-utero. Interesting. Maybe I'll have to explore that through a regression sometime. It would explain some of the recurring dreams as I had a small child. ;)

Thanks again for your show. Keep bringing us all this fantastic and entertaining info!

Wow, the alien video description alone gave me a sleepless night last night! Keep up the good work, guys, I really enjoy the banter between Aaron and Ben.

  • James

    Hey Guys,
Had to comment on the video. I've been a professional CG artist for over 13 years, and aside from the obviously poor video quality, my biggest issue with this is the path the object has chosen to take across this guys lawn. It's path allows it to go by a tree to be used for a scale reference, and the lighting is simple enough to mimic digitally. it just seems like the “creature” is framed entirely too well. It doesn't interact with anything, and quite frankly, I think that a creature like this would stay close to the fence rather than parade out into the open where it would be the most vulnerable to attack or be taken by surprise. Additionally, there's a technique of “under animating” to provide a heightened sense of realism and I think this is what is being used here either on purpose, or as a result of the relative skill of the animator.

Stick like aliens (or whatever they are) have been seen in many places such as NM, TX, and in South America. Those are just the ones that come to mind. The one I remember from South America can be found on YouTube if you do a search for the title Extraterrestre filmado en Santa Rosa de Quives-Perú 2009. I think they did some kind of research or something on this one to show it was a fake possibly? Dunno. You can check it out for yourselves. Either way, it is interesting. I thought there was a shadow person report where they shadow person was 2D or like a black line drawing or something….

  • GG

Im sceptical… this could easily be cgi… but one of my flags. The man who worked for Univision said towards the end he received a copy of the film. Why didn’t he show that instead of a film of a film??

  • Mr.Hicks

hey guys The video is just gone… and no traces of it online. If you had a new link that would be great.
