    I live in South Florida and believe me, this place doesn’t suffer from a lack of diverse wildlife.

    We have mutant cockroaches and Palmetto Bugs that fly. We have giant iguanas that sun themselves on the boat docks. A huge established population of wild parrots (which were initially released when Hurricane Andrew destroyed aviaries in the Metro Zoo in 1992). We are also dealing with a growing population of pythons and anaconda in the Everglades alongside the alligators.

    Then we also have stories of the Skunk Ape.
