Linda is a investigative journalist, producer and researcher. She is the author of An Alien Harvest which takes a chilling look at the phenomena of cattle mutilations.

    Really enjoyed hearing this interview. I remember hearing LMH on Dreamland Sunday nights with big Art Bell.
    I was going to advertise my voice overs on Linda’s site a while ago and – blow me away – she called me herself. Really straightforward and likeable person. She must be one of the last remaining earnest researchers – one who’s not just interested in promoting their latest book or subscription site.

    I appreciate Linda’s work and think she has some good ideas, but in this interview it seems she’s stuck in a “no explanation, therefore aliens” mindset.

    While aliens might seem like a good answer for a dead cow + lights in the sky + no tracks, it must be discounted because the bovine corpse is left behind. Her explanation that the body is placed back in the field as a warning, threat, show of strength or whatnot is totally ludicrous and presupposes she has some kind of insight into alien psychology.

    The same goes for crop circles. Aliens, HARP, microwave weapons, Underpants gnomes, college kids; all are possible culprits.

    Enough bitching, all-in-all it was a great interview; very interesting and enjoyable.

    For when you interview her this season, I’d be interested in hearing more about her modus operandi. Does she consider herself more of a chronicler of the odd or as a scientist looking for answers? If chronicler, how does she separate the half-dolphin hybrids from the Travis Waltons? If scientist, what is her scientific method and where and how does she perform her analysis?

    I’d also be interested in knowing what role she thinks emerging world powers and even third-world governments are playing in the whole UFO phenomenon.
