You’ve finally done it, you Murdoch wannabes, you evil geniuses you! You’ve finally forced me to become a Plus member. Oh I’m well aware that 9 dollars means only a slice of gourmet cheesecake for you –but you realize how many tortillas I could buy with that money??!

Just teasing. I had been considering becoming a member for quite a while now; the fact that you mentioned my little article just helped seal the deal ;)

Now, getting to the fairy psychosis issue: Yes, flock mentality *could* explain why people are just waiting in line for hours expecting to see something amazing. But what could explain the fact that they leave out convinced that they saw an actual fairy, instead of getting angry because they were scammed, and demand a refund?

In the Youtube clip I included, you can hear a woman who saw the ‘fairy’ describing it and with no questions in her mind about its authenticity!

On the “On Dinosaurs and Man…” article, Creationists have been saying this for a while now. Just sayin’. :-/ And what scientists still go by the geologic column? You can go to almost any natural history museum (the last one I was at was in Denver a couple years ago) and one display will say that the fossils are dated based on what layer they are in, and twenty feet away another display will say that the layers are dated based on what fossils are in them.
