Thinking of selling T-shirts with the phrase “I’m gonna ORB the crap outta you!”  ;)

PS: Ben’s eerie changeling voice is awfully suspicious. I think Aaron should call an exorcist… or bring boiling eggs to the studio :P

It seems pretty obvious to me that the “Track System” is artifacting as a result of poor joins between the frames of the photographic mosaic. Occam’s Razor, folks.

Seriously, MU picks the best electronica around.

I think you guys missed the boat on the Avatar references. Monk is referencing Avatar: The Last Airbender, not the ‘Blue” Avatar. Another fun show. Thanks guys!

you guys should add a Facebook-like, thumb link! I want to share this
episode with my college friends on my facebook wall. Other websites, for instance, the
Huffingtonpost has the thumbs up link for articles and pages. MU needs
to get the link! But, I have liked the MU page on facebook. But, I want to share this specific episode…

I dunno, I think we can all agree two orbs are better than one.

I just wasted 4 minutes on my time on that dang Avatar website. Look how the water ripples around my hands whenever I breathe hard towards the water or when the wind blows.

Just have to say, i think the music may be the favourite part of the show is the music..always always a fantastic selection!

Low or Zero gravity effects bone density as well as atrophying muscles. Both these effects can be reduced via exercise in space but astronauts still have thinner and weaker bones because of their time in space.

In regards to out of body/ near death experiences I think you misspoke a few times:
    1. People being able to recount conversations is not all that extraordinary since we can pick-up sounds in our ears – its not that much of a leap to suggest that someone who is unconscious, in the process of dying and being resuscitated could have enough brain activity to listen to conversations.
    2. Experiments into near death experiences involving placing images up high out of sight of people who are not floating on the ceiling have not (to my knowledge) shown that people reporting the experience of viewing the scene from outside their body have any extra sensory information (that is they cant see the pictures). Also this state of perceiving ones point of view to be outside ones body can be induced. There is a function in the brain that locks our point of view to inside our bodies, if this function is disrupted our point of view can wander but our sensory input is still restricted to our physical body.

With regard to egg-shells in folklore (and I just noticed that the notes on the original story mention this). My mother and grandmother insisted that you crush eggshells before putting them into the trash or compost because witches can use unbroken eggshells as ships and presumably fly/sail around in them. At home, if I ever put a half-eggshell into the trashcan, my mother would literally jump up, reach into the trash and crush it to dust. So these folktales and “old wives tales” certainly do live on.
