Black-Eyed Kids in North Dakota

Oct 7th in Bizarre & Featured by

A knock on Paul’s front door pulled him from work. He stood from the desk in his home office in a small North Dakota town and walked downstairs.

He didn’t find what he expected on that April 2011 day.

“I found a young boy who appeared to be about 16 or 17 standing on my front porch,” Paul said.

The thin teenager wore almost threadbare corduroy pants and dress shirt that hung off his body; black, unkempt hair hung lifelessly around his face.

“He asked me about a Chevy Tracker that I had sitting in front of my garage with a ‘For Sale’ sign on it,” Paul said. “He spoke very clearly and slowly in a rather monotone voice. It was like he was trying to force his words to make a point to me. He never said anything threatening, he only asked me to tell him about the vehicle.”

But there was something odd about the boy that set Paul on edge.

After dishing up the latest headlines we sit down with Greg Newkirk and Jason Gowin from Who Forted Magazine to talk about their upcoming documentary “The Bigfoot Hunter: Still Searching”.

The film’s focus is self proclaimed Bigfoot Hunter Tim Holmes and his search for Sasquatch in Elmira New York, but this is not your average Crypto quest. It soon becomes clear that Holmes may indeed be more mysterious than Bigfoot himself with his wild stories, eccentric nature, and often hilarious antics taking centre stage.

Read on for show notes, music, and info on the film.

The Ghost Face of the USS Arizona

Oct 6th in Bizarre & Ghosts & Hauntings & Modern Mysteries by

On December 7, 1941, the Imperial Japanese Navy attacked the U.S. Naval base at Pearl Harbor in an effort to destroy America’s Pacific Fleet before they could officially enter the war and interfere with their intent to dominate the Pacific. During that catastrophic assault scores of ships and planes were destroyed and even more tragically nearly 2,500 unsuspecting soldiers horrifically lost their lives.

It has often been suggested that the spirits of those who die under sudden or violent circumstances tend to linger at the scene of the tragedy rather than pass on. Now a family from Australia has come forward with what they believe might be photographic evidence that suggests that the souls of those lost on the USS Arizona that sorrowful day might be suffering just that fate.

The Art of Thoughtography: Creating Visual Impressions with the Mind

Oct 4th in Spirituality by

The mind is perhaps the most wonderful, mysterious element to our human existence. Like a disembodied cosmic centrifuge, its workings dictate not only our actions, attitudes, and interaction with others, spreading our intentions and ideas throughout the world around us, but also functions a great deal in terms of shaping our very reality on an individual basis.

From within its many mysterious alcoves, subtle hints at even greater hidden powers that may exist within the mind have can be glimpsed as well. For centuries, psychics and mentalists have claimed to be able to access some of these clandestine abilities; a few individuals even claim to be able close their eyes, focus on a particular event or occurrence in their lives, and manifest aspects of it physically.

A Religious Deception?

Oct 1st in Spirituality & UFO Phenomenon by

Back in late 2010, probably the most controversial book I have ever written was published: Final Events and the Secret Government Group on Demonic UFOs and the Afterlife. The book told the story of an officially-funded think-tank – the Collins Elite – that concluded rather than coming from outer space, UFOs are – literally – the deceitful and deceptive tools of Satan. Controversial? Of course!

But perhaps the most controversial aspect of the book was that which suggested certain elements of officialdom have contemplated using religious charades – possibly even in the form of elaborate, aerial holograms – to influence the mindset and religious-based belief-systems of the populace.

This is made all the more interesting by the fact that in the wake of the publication of Final Events I secured a copy of an April 14, 1950 RAND publication titled The Exploitation of Superstitions for Purposes of Psychological Warfare, written by Jean M. Hungerford, for the attention of the U.S. Air Force. The 37-page document is an extremely interesting one and delves into some highly unusual areas – one of which may have a bearing upon the data contained in Final Events.

Night Shift Nurses and the Flying Saucer Men

Sep 30th in Featured & Modern Mysteries & UFO Phenomenon by

What sounds like a saucy, cinematic romp that would likely have played in some dingy theater on New York’s 42nd Street in the 1970s, is actually one of the strangest and most fascinating events in the long history of UFO research. The event in question, which would soon become a full blown phenomenon, began in the wee hours of New Year’s Day, 1970, and involved a group of Canadian nurses who would bear witness to a peculiar craft and a pair of bizarre beings that would forever alter the course of their lives.

At 11:59 pm. on New Year’s Eve, 1969, while the rest of British Columbia was engaged in celebrating the arrival of the new decade with hugs and kisses and copious amounts of champagne, a night shift nurse by the name of Doreen Kendall was punching in at Cowichan District Hospital on Vancouver Island for the midnight to eight swing.

There can be little doubt that following her tedious 26-mile commute from her home in Nanaimo, that she regretted having to miss all the festivities, but as she shucked her coat and resigned herself to the performance of her duties, Kendall had no way of knowing just how much excitement was in store for her and her co-workers occupying the second floor of the CDH’s East Wing.
