- How do I become a Plus+ member?

- What happens when I become a Plus+ member?

Becoming a Plus+ member will give you the best Mysterious Universe experience available. You will get access to a range of additional exciting content exclusive to subscribers. This includes an extended edition of the original free weekly podcast, a FULL length weekend addition of Mysterious Universe Plus+, access to special offers and promotions, access to exclusive video cast content and field investigations that will become available in 2010 and much more.

- Where do I login to my Mysterious Universe Plus+ Membership?

You can access your account and all the Mysterious Universe Plus+ content via plus.mysteriousuniverse.org.
- How can I cancel my Plus+ Membership?

You can cancel your Plus+ membership by logging into you account at plus.mysteriousuniverse.org, then click “Access Your Thank You Page”. From there you can click the Unsubscribe button at the bottom of the page.
Alternatively you can cancel your Plus+ Membership via your Paypal account.
If you would like to cancel your Plus+ subscription via PayPal, log into your PayPal account and go to the ‘History’ subtab of the ‘My Account’ tab. Choose “Subscriptions” from the drop-down “Show” menu and click “Submit”. Choose the Plus+ subscription, and click on its “Details” link. You will be taken to a Transaction Details page from which you may cancel your subscription.
Please note that canceling your subscription will immediately stop all future scheduled payments for this subscription and stop access to all Plus+ content.
Please be aware, if you cancel your subscription within 24 hours of a new billing cycle you will be charged for the entire new month and your subscription will end of the next billing cycle
- What is your refund policy?

- Cancel Your Subscription
- Get your PayPal receipt number, your PayPal email address and the date of purchase;
- Send a Support Ticket including this information as well as your member name, full name and postal address to our Support Desk (support@mysteriousuniverse.org)
- Include one way we can improve the Plus Membership service

- How do I get access to my Plus+ RSS feed?

When you sign up to Mysterious Universe Plus+ you will be provided with your own unique RSS feed. Your RSS feed can be accessed at any time by clicking on the “Access the Thank You Page” link from within the membership site.
- Do I have to subscribe each month?

No, you subscription to Plus+ is recurring unless you cancel your membership.
- How do I get technical and billing support?

- Should Plus+ members stay subscribed to the free podcast feed?

No, your Plus+ membership provides you with with a unique RSS feed which gives you complete access to all content published by Mysterious Universe. Alternatively, by using the username and password provided to you at sign up, you can log into the Mysterious Universe Plus+ website and download content directly.
- How do I subscribe to the Plus+ podcast in iTunes?

Simply click on the iTunes subscribe link included in your welcome email. This is a “one click subscribe” link.
- Can I use a web based reader such as Google Reader to access my Plus+ RSS feed?

Technically yes but we do not recommend it. Web based readers such as Google Reader and Yahoo reader can often cause issues with the security system we use on our Plus+ feeds and you may find your feed being flagged due to the way these web based readers access it.
- How many machines can I use my RSS feed on? Can I use it at work and at home?

We secure your unique Plus+ RSS feed by limiting the amount of unique IP addresses that can access the feed in a 24 hour period. Currently our access limit is 3 IP addresses per 24 hours. So yes, you can have your Work computer and your Home computer both accessing your Plus RSS feed. Keep in mind however that roaming to different Wifi connections with a laptop, rebooting your DSL modem (if you don’t have a static IP), and accessing from portable devices such as iPhones, will potentially mean you are using a new unique IP.
If you do breach the access limit your RSS feed will let you know your account has been “Suspended” and you will need to contact support@mysteriousuniverse.org to have it re-activated.
- Can I download the Plus+ content directly from the website?

All Plus+ members are provided with a username and password which allows direct download of all Plus+ content.
- How long are the Mysterious Universe seasons and where can I get updates?

Season lengths will be 24 episodes but this is number subject to change. We are currently trialling stand-in co-hosts for when one of the regular hosts takes a break. All of our Plus+ members will be notified of any major changes/disruptions or announcements via email. Additionally you can view updates by following the official Mysterious Universe twitter feed @mysteriousuniv
- Mid and End of Season Breaks

All MU episodes fall into a selected season. In the middle and the end of a season the hosts and producers of the show will take a scheduled break. These breaks will be pre-announced in the show.
