Cast Members Of “Annabelle Comes Home” Experienced Paranormal Activity While Filming

According to the cast members of the new “Annabelle Comes Home” movie, they experienced some rather weird and unexplained things while they were filming. As a tradition, a priest comes to the set of the “Conjuring” universe movies to bless the production crew. Unfortunately for them, this time the paranormal activity didn’t stop.

According to production notes, a piano bench in the artifacts room “moved overnight on several occasions, though no crew members were working, and the stage was locked.” Another day, a journalist visited the movie set and while he was there his watch started speeding up and moving ahead by several hours. It only happened while he was at the filming location, as his watch worked perfectly fine the following day.

Unfortunately for twelve-year-old Mckenna Grace, who played Ed and Lorraine Warren’s daughter Judy in the movie, the majority of the paranormal activity focused on her. She started off by telling TheWrap that one morning she woke up with a strange triangle-shaped cut near her hairline. A more frightening experience happened when they were on set and the lights went out. When the lights came back on, Grace’s nose was severely bleeding, but it stopped as soon as she left the set to get a tissue.

Grace also experienced her trailer losing power when all of other trailers still had power; doors were opened when they should have been shut; and a shadow figure was sleeping in one of the rooms that was empty. She was even wearing a rosary one day when the crucifix inexplicably fell off and broke.

When Grace brought her camera to the set to take pictures with the crew, every time Annabelle was in the picture, the photo would turn out black. And in one of the pictures that she took with actor Patrick Wilson, a black mark showed up on top of the cross he was wearing. She also experienced a glass falling over and a witch bottle getting so hot that it burned her hand.

Her most frightening experience was when she and her co-star Madison Iseman were walking down a corridor when they heard three knocks on a door and when they opened it, the Annabelle doll was sitting in a rocking chair. Shortly after, they heard another knock and opened the door again, but Annabelle was gone. They thought that the production crew was playing a prank on them, but nobody came forward to admit that it was them.

“Personally, I don’t know if I believe in ghosts or not,” Grace stated, “I am torn because there are logical explanations but there are also things that cannot be explained.” Based on the creepy stuff she and the others experienced during the filming of the movie, it seemed as though someone or something was making their presence known.
