A camera that was recording inside of Zak Bagans’ Haunted Museum in Las Vegas, Nevada, captured footage of a woman fainting after coming into contact with a mysterious orb of light. The woman was part of a group taking a tour of the museum when all of a sudden an orb of light is seen flying past her. Moments later, she fainted and hit her head on one of the cabinets before sliding down to the floor.
Earle Brown, who is the museum’s tour guide, explained, “A spirit orb, spirits can manifest in these orbs of light. A lot of times, when spirits touch you, they can drain your energy and it can happen quite quickly. When that happens, you literally can go down.” Bagans is convinced that what’s on the video is an actual spirit.
There is, however, a lot of skepticism on what the light actually was. A lot of people who have seen the video are convinced that it was just a flying insect. Brown, on the other hand, says that it’s not a bug, “It moved way too fast to be a bug. Bugs have to be close to the camera, and they don’t move laterally, meaning they’re not going to touch something and move away. They’re going to keep going in the direction they were flying.”
So why did the woman faint? There could be a much more logical explanation, such as maybe she had the flu, she was dehydrated, or she was dizzy. You can decide for yourself, as you can see the video here.
There’s no denying that the Haunted Museum is home to many artifacts with a dark history. The museum made headlines recently when it had to temporarily shut down the “Devil’s Rocking Chair” exhibit on the same day that it opened because people were being affected negatively by the tremendous amount of paranormal activity surrounding the haunted chair.
In other news, Bagans just added another piece of furniture with a dark history to his collection at the museum. He now owns the cursed bed from the Love Ranch brothel where NBA star Lamar Odom overdosed and later the owner of the brothel, Dennis Hof, died from a heart attack. There is a twist to this story, as Odom claimed that he wasn’t using drugs on the night that he overdosed and that he believed Hof attempted to kill him.
“Whenever someone tells me that they believe something is cursed like this bed and then I hear not only did someone die in the bed, but also overdose in it then I’m interested in observing the item to see if there is indeed a supernatural force at play here,” Bagans told Newsweek. You can see a picture of the bed here.
