We also return to a classic possessed doll story that always seems to pop up again for the holidays, but not before hearing tales of encounters with beings from the planet “Clarion” in the 1950s.

Good episode.

One thing that came to my mind while listening was, what if the reason lots of this stuff happens around, or to kids, is not because they are more perceptive but because they are actually causing it to happen. Whether through personal or shared hallucinations or actually physically changing their environment. To me that would make more sense then large amounts of alien/ghosts/shadow people being all over the place.

The reason why would potentially lose this “ability” as they grow older could be due to the same reason adults can't draw like kids. As you grow older your mind becomes more ordered and with internal and external rules being applied to it, leading to less imaginative and creative thought.

Not only that but if you extrapolate on that assumption it could even possibly lead to an explanation of UFO's (albeit a pretty weak one). That its the people who see the objects that are actually, and subconsciously, creating them.

Anyways thats enough rambling, keep up the good work and I can't wait to hear your '+' content.

In a weird case of synchronicity … a day after listening to the first part of the podcast, the part about the Clarions, I was driving home and saw a sign with the word “Clarion” written on it.

Regarding the haunted dolls… how come haunted dolls are always some creepy looking doll with weird eyes or movable heads? How come they are never cute little Winnie the Pooh bears or Cabbage Patch Kids?

Thanks for your msg but that's not the tune. I listened to all tune on MU 301 and nothing sounded like it. Maybe it's not listed. It starts at my iTune and iPod touch timer 1:09:28 and -03:10 if you can link if anyone can link it to me it would be very much appreciated. Thanks agin for any help.
