That harlequin story is going to give me nightmares. The description of the wierd jumbled clothing and the herky-jerky way the harlequin moved reminded me of the zombies in “Night of the Living Dead”. The part where the dad freaks out at the dinner table had a surreal quality to it, as if what really happened was too horrible, and the child's psyche mixed up and changed events to shield the child from remembering what really happened. Disturbing.

Talk about some serious synchronicity here…just yesterday while walking my dog I was thinking about how people get a fear of spiders and snakes if they were never attacked by them. Then I listen to MU and the exact same topic is covered lol.

I'm not sure if it was this episode of a previous one that talked about men being attracted more to women dressed in red (since I just listened to 3 episodes at once). Either way it might have something to do with the colour of blood as in when a woman blushes.

Whoa – same here. My wife and I were talking about the exact same topic the day before I listened to this. We were thinking some sort of inherited/shared memory which we now call instincts.

He bought the sequel so I think I convinced him to go and get the original before playing it.

According to the evolutionary peeps out there, the allure of red dates back to pre-bipedal humanoids. When we were walking around like apes we had our butts in the air, which resulted in our 'lady bits' being visible. When a female would be their most fertile (pre-menstral), our bits would become swollen, engorged, and red- indicating to the males that this was the best time to copulate. Thus, red, swollen, engorged lady bits induced arousal in men, which led to what Aaron and Ben would call, “sexy time”.

As we evolved to the upright position our anatomy changed; however, this innate attraction to red-swollen items still remains… so, in the words of one of my undergraduate professors, ” the reason why so many men are attracted to women wearing red lipstick is because it reminds them of a pre-menstrual, engorged vagina”. … yup…you'll look at the world differently with that knowledge! ;)

Great episode! As the others have said, the Harloquin story was insane!

And as far as bioshock- I would play all the fallout 3 expansions and then move on!
