His description of the entities is very anthropomorphic, aside from their appearance. I don't know much about MILABs, but this immediately came to mind as an explanation. That humans are doing it but brainwashing him to remember frog-people and other outrageous elements. Especially the underground airport with different alien species, as this was exactly what Larry Warren (Rendlesham witness, as recounted in Left At East Gate) recalled under regression, but which he later came to believe was a false memory added via brainwashing. So that would be my explanation, except how would he then get photos/video of Reptilians and Greys in his bedroom?

The fact that he is a carpenter/builder reminded me of the contractor Ed Walters of the infamous hoax case in Gulf Breeze. Maybe it's something about that profession that leads people to construct intricate lies. Very entertaining, nonetheless.

Absolutely the best MU episode I have ever listened to. You guys need to get him back to do a multi-part series… you could ask him questions for hours and keep your audience glued to their iPods! I'm interested in the things he said he cannot tell you – why can't he? Was he sworn to secrecy? Is he afraid of the MiB? Could the knowledge he have threaten the human race (technology etc)? Do they actually tuck him into bed when they return him to his house? I have a million questions!

Whether his experiences are genuine abductions or brainwashing I guess has yet to be explored, but I came away from the interview with the sense that Eckhart really believed the story he was telling. There was a moment when he was asked about whether he had semen samples taken, and his voice changed tone and he became hesitant. I was struck with the sincerity of his embarrassment and reluctance to discuss that in much detail. Unless he also has skills as a gifted actor, I don't think he could have manufactured the subtle shift in his demeanor when discussing that subject. I started out thinking there was no way I was going to believe this man's story, but I have to say, he certainly sounded like he truly believed what he was telling.

Well, I love Mysterious Universe but I found that this guy did not sound credible at all.
He reminded me of people you'll just find on the street that start telling you things, and you just listen and agree with him cause you don't want to start an argument.
Maybe there is more to the story, and maybe it's just his personality.
Personally he just sounded like a nut, a little too out there for me to believe.

    Maybe it's all true though.

…and I have some North Dakota ocean front property you might be interested in. Wow, I'm speechless. Just sayin'.

Hi guys. I've just finished listening to the David Eckhart interview for the second time. I'm afraid that some of his comments were just too “out there” for me; the aliens whilst operating on his feet put the toe-nails from his right foot back on to his left foot! I don't think I could pick my own toe-nails out from a line-up let alone tell which ones belonged to which foot! Also he was abducted by aliens but that they let get up and have a wander round their craft!

You must have been picked up by aliens to know that kind of infromation is not real and no one said the aliens let David just run around a craft. listen agin…

I agree with most people here, i cant believe a bit of what he says. There are times where it just seems like he says to himself ''yea..yea..thats what happened''.It feels as if hes found a way to get Aaron or Ben to assist his story not implying that either of you believe him or not =).

The most nagging question for me was if this all was going on you really could not find one willing scientist or investigator to come out and conduct some form of study to capture reliable evidence and show the world?

great podcast though! awesome production as always and well done feels just like the old mu except better =)

  • Steve

Just can't swallow this one. Your earlier scepticism Aaron is well founded. This guy would have agreed to tell you about anything you mentioned…big part of the conversation where you guys asked “were there reptillians? “and off he goes and talks about them and so on and so on, I was waiting for Sanat Claus to turn up.

Mmmmm. Just cannot believe anything he says. He's taken just about every conceivable alien story and creature description and packed them into his tales of abduction. Not a shred of credible evidence was offered to support his stories after how many years of being abducted. Like someone said once…”what you can't even steal a pen for crying out loud!” As for the video. Dodgy the first time you showed it and still as dodgy. Don't bother getting him back on for me, I coudn't be bothered listening to him again. Bah humbug.
