Re: the item detailing frequently seeing the time 11:11. For me the number is 1:03. I have had a close connection with 103 since childhood and see it everywhere, but especially when in bed. I’ll open my eyes to check the time and there it is.
I think it might be a case of eyeless sight (aka. paroptic vision, dermo-optical perception) and that maybe our astral body “sees” things, like the bedside clock even though we have our physical eyes shut)

Ben and Aaron..once again an amazing show. From what I understand 11:11 symbolizes “Universal Enlightenment” and ultimately some type of change. Though it didn’t originate with him, I believe it was popularized by Lee Carroll–writer of a series of New Age books called Kryon. Lee channels some sort of alien, spirit guide or some other type of entity that apparently sends messages to help those here on earth “ascend.” It’s kind of on the level of the Seth Teachings. It all is a little out there. Whether you believe it or not–it is meant to bring hope in dark times. I’m not 100% sure of what I believe on this…though I have seen and met Lee Carroll in person. He does live channelings in front of thousands and even has gained audience within the US Congress and has warned them about various end times scenarios, etc. It’s all really very interesting.

Seeing 11:11 for any one individual apparently means something in that individuals life is about to change. Others say it means that individual is on the path to ascending while others say that individual is just being told some “great change” in the world is about to happen. I myself have seen 11:11 quite a bit–as did my mother. We used to talk about how weird it was. Once again, I do believe humans have an internal clock. It’s like when you set your clock to wake up the next morning and then wake up a minute before the alarm goes off. I do believe in the power of numbers–I’m just not sure how much. Thanks again!

I guess this comment is a couple of weeks late, but I’m a little behind in my listening. Trying to get caught up. Anyway, I just wanted to say that I think the reason the Washington Post and other media outlets didn’t cover the UFO press conference is that they’ve done it before and it has never turned out to mean anything. It’s a few guys telling stories. Sorry, but that is simply not enough. Just like Greer and “The Non-Disclosure Project.” Greer has never disclosed anything, other than some guys telling stories. And now he’s taking people’s money to take them out in the desert to shine flashlights in the sky. Absurd. For the mainstream media and for people outside the UFO community to accept this phenomenon as anything other than lights in the sky, these guys are going to have to do something more than just tell stories. You (not necessarily “you” personally — don’t mean that to sound like an accusation) can say what you want about how brave they are and you can throw around accusations of how they’ve been silenced by the Men in Black, but it rings hollow to someone like me, who for my entire life has hoped that something more than “guys telling stories” would come out. There are too many instances of these supposedly “credible witnesses” turning out to be wrong or lying. So far the stories are all we’ve got. Still love listening to the show, for the stories, of course. As you’ve said many times, it’s great entertainment. And perhaps someday, something real will happen.

Excellent interview with Duncan, and I enjoyed the rest of the podcast, too.

I’m surprised at just how good that interview was. Not that you’re not a great interviewer but it’s just that the guest turned out to be far more interesting than I expected. Terrific show as always!

Hi guys. Thank you for another wonderful show! I really enjoyed the interview with Duncan Barford. I do like the sprinkling of spirituality that has been showing up in your shows recently, ( loved the interview with the Sydney psychic) It’s all fascinating stuff , aliens and spirit, it all makes up for a very mysterious universe indeed! :) I often wish more money was being poured into things that go Bump in the night instead of whats going on out in space. I figure the ETs will let us know, when they want us to :) However most of us have a hard time listening to what Spirit has to say…( Note to self…Keep up the meditation, as Duncan says) Thank you again and I love being a Plus member. I even have my husband listening to your shows now ! Great work you both do and it is really appreciated ( so proud you are Aussies LOL) Cheers xx

Interesting, but not mind blowing interview.

you guys rock, keep it up!

i see 11:11 all the time too, it comes in phases. And I also get an impulse to look at the clock at that time. i don’t know if it means anything but it doesnt just feel like a coincidence when it happens.

I was happy to see you broth up the 11,11 story ,i have been having a similar experiences. I met my girlfriend 6 months ago, and on our 1st date we both looked at our watches at 11,11, my girlfriend said “ahh thats cute it means someone is thinking about you” , little did we know this was the 1st of many a nights of looking at our watches bang on 11,11..
I can be anywhere doing anything but at 11,11 i some how glace at my phone and so dose she , the crazier part is , is that my gf , work in a really busy bar but somehow gets a urge up look at her phone at 11,11(there are no clocks in the bar and she has no way of knowing what time it is ) so much so now that we text it to each , and our texts will be crossing as we send them ….I do kinda feel that we have somehow programed our minds to somehow have the urge to look at our phones at that time ….this has never happen to me before until i meet her ….anyway just thought i would share , my experience with 11,11 …

    Hi Guys,

Great show as always. I always enjoy the myriad of topics and the links to follow up as the curious are want to do. The tag sphere is flippin awesome! Couple of quick things…

11:11 – is this a self fulfilling prophecy? I have my morning alarm set for 6:20 and I can’t tell you how many times I have woken up at 6:20 in spite of the fact I forgot to set my alarm. Our internal clock, our circadian rhythm, accommodates to our schedule. Some people know exactly when it’s 4:20 and don’t need a watch to tell them.

I wonder if HAARP is a UFO petrol station. Don’t hear stories of brown outs / blackouts and no one is fueling the pyramids any more. In fact, the last brown out story I heard about had to do with burritos and beer.

I had exactly 33 red M&Ms in my bag. Are the Freemasons taking over my favorite snack food?

I enjoyed the interview on Podcasting Advisor and have a suggestion: Make a quarterly “special” podcast with the cutting room floor content left in there. Yes, toss up a disclaimer for the cornholios who get offended at the least little thing. However, long time listeners and dedicated fans of the show will get a kick out of this…and pay to hear it.

I know when I get together with a couple of friends and get to talking – we usually get to drinking and the content of the “show” gets a bit colorful. However, it also gets more entertaining.

    Keep up the good work!

Awesome interview. You and Duncan I felt were touching upon some real spiritual truths. I’m a christian, and as such acknowlege there is a real spiritual world that’s part of our own physical world. Ironically, I think Duncan as a practitioner of magik has come to realize the truth of this and what it means more so than almost any church or religious person. Loving all these recent interviews!

oh and, does anyone remember “the secret” ? Duncan talks about western occultism being too focused on monetary gain, (greed basically) and “the secret” is that exactly. It was marketed as a new age spiritual way to get the universe to give you stuff. Which is magik that duncan was talking about, but it’s “get stuff” oriented. We’re good at twisting things here in the west.

    Hey guys,
Earlier this year I started continually waking up at 3:33am regardless of what time I went to sleep.
Curious about this I did a search online and came across all the 11:11 theories. My favourite theory (although I don’t subscribe to it) is that it is a call for “oneness” [see ElevenElevenReallity on YouTube]
I agree with you guys that it’s probably just once aware of something we take more notice of it – tying in nicely with what Ducan Barford was talking about “looking for the corkscrew.”
Speaking of which I really enjoyed the interview. Particularly the part about meditation and it’s link to psychic experiences. But this wasn’t the first time I’d heard about this link…
A few months ago I’d done a meditation (loosely based on Buddhist practice) during and after which strange/psychic/paranormal things started to happen. I was quite frightened by this; I didn’t know what was going on and had no idea who to talk to about it.
Then last week, talk about coincidence… I’d been making my way through your archived episodes and the last one I’d heard, just days before your interview with Duncan, was ep.307 in which Micah Hanks spoke of exactly the same phenomenon!!!
    Weird.
    Love love love the show.
Thankyou for all your hard work.

Great show as usual guys! Really enjoyed the interview with Duncan, love the message that it sent. Ben, did you sense or could you tell that Duncan was really enlightened? Isn’t that kind of a bold statement? I am not sure, I do not know that much about Buddhism to be honest. Either way it was a very enlightening episode. Aaron, I too thought we were going to be levitating jars of mustard.

My brother was born in Nov 11, things pop out to us when we take meaning in things. Like when you get a car and then you start seeing it all over the place, but before you had the car it never really got your attention.

  • Bright Garlick

Hey Guys another great show. Nice to see you explore the spiritual aspect. I think Duncan was right to consider the paranormal stuff a spin off of spiritual development. In Buddhism the development of these skills in seen as a distraction on the path and like a horizontal development on a vertical path. The danger as Duncan eluded to is that people use these abilities for selfish means and miss the point of ‘freedom from suffering’. Meditation and mindfulness in the 4 positions : sitting, standing, walking and lying down, is the key to awareness of what is and the key to alleviating suffering. Magic, magick and all variations there of are simply an effort to affect change on the present moment and offer no guarentee of lasting happiness. Only meditation and mindfulness practice can do that. Ben keep up you meditation practices and check out the 5 hindrences defined in Buddhism. These are the 5 obstacles to meditation encountered by all travellers on the way. Anyway a really nice interview – more of these kinds of interviews would add a unique depth to you show.

On another issue – I was born on 11th November and have had 11′s all through my life. Next year at 11:11 on 11 of the 11th, I plan a little shindig in a kilt on a mountain with nothing on under neath. Think ‘a cock on a frock on a rock’ – Prescilla. A friend told me that in astrological terms, 11 is considered the master number and 11 people can struggle with the intensity that comes with the no. Seems to describe my life. However I would remind everyone that the concept of numbers is an arbitary construct – we attribute meaning to it. Ben I think your explanation of 11:11 is dead on. Numerology is another way of looking for patterns that please the pattern seeking and meaning seeking creatures that we are. Incidently 11:11 adds to 4 – the number of wholeness and completion. Is that why the Billy Connoly style shindig appeals to me ? Sorry guys – a Baby Boomer/Gen X joke
