    “It’s a big one  up to my chest in height”.  Exactly how big do these things get?  Assuming average height, that’d be what, 4-5 feet tall?  Could that count as a cryptid? :)  Or maybe she’s just short?  
    If she really wanted to git’r'done, she’d get that Texas (not Florida) kid and tell him there’s a chupacabra in the area.  Problem solved…
