Mysterious Universe

Great show this week, guys. I loved the interview. Having grew up in the rural US myself I heard stories similar to these all around, including Bigfoot types stories directly from friends of my sister. I LOVED believing that stuff as a kid, but looking back on it I realize that it was more likely the fact that my sister's friends were all heavy drug users (it was the 70s).

*heh* As I listened to the Lady Gaga story (opened in a tab for reading later) I thought to myself (1) this is the kind of story I would write because I would see all that symbolism and I love “…ah HA! SEE! I TOLD YOU SO!” type of slow reveal stories like that and (2) well, frankly, I'm more inclined to believe this than ANY of the ghost stories I've heard ever.

Aaron. I was deeply disappointed to hear you compare Lady GaGa to Roisin Murphy. Frankly, I think you owe Ms. Murphy an apology, she is the superior artist. I agree, however, that GaGa is slickly produced.

Meh.

Regarding the occult symbolism… I often want to engage with you guys on this point, because (and this is for Aaron especially) I've come to the conclusion over the past ten years that there is a bit more to all that. It's lovely when folks scoff at the premise, however, because it allows the use of powerful archetypal symbolism (for good or evil?) to continue unfettered and without question.

While your conscious mind remains docile, your subconscious mind gets bombarded and programmed by all sorts of imagery in our present-day info & tech heavy culture. Aaron, if you are repeatedly willing to admit there are all sorts of advanced military devices (like flying saucers!) than why wouldn't it be more reasonable to assume that the many images/symbols employed in billboards, tv shows, movies, websites, video games, magazine advertisements – etc. etc. INCLUDING pop performances – are often designed to shift and shape the minds of the masses?

I plan to contact you guys in the future. I live in LA now, and I've had some first-hand confirmation of these sorts of media symbolism shenanigans I think you might appreciate hearing about. At the very least, there are folks in entertainment and the media well versed in archetypal occult symbology and the visceral effect seeing them causes among humans.

Mostly, I started this comment because I'm a PLUS Member, and at the mention of Roisin Murphy and whateverhernameis in the same sentence in MU Episode 314 – I almost cancelled my membership! In the end, I think this comment was a much better use of my time;)

Out of curiosity, can anyone tell me how the word “craft” has gotten to embedded into the language of UFO experiences? It's never “object” or “ship” or “thing” or something vague or obscure, it's always “craft” which makes me scratch my head about how this word become the one of choice for describing UFO encounters. (Spacecraft? Aircraft? Unconscious connection to the supernatural via “witchcraft”?)

Hi, This is the very first time I have heard your show in my inter. it is really cool. I love to know the unkown, especially when it is out there, and people seem to ignore it, or rather turn their back at it. I don't know if you really belive in all of this weirdness, but at least, people can express, or tell their story about what happen to them, I am fifty seven years old, I am from Brooklyn ny, now residing in CT. and I remember then in brooklyn or any other radio show was talking about, ufo, bigfoot, or ghost. the show would all of a sudden be off, the next day, or later on in the day, they would apologise for the cut off. That it was a problem with this that and the other, in other words, alot of crap. Now ufo, bigfoot, and all of the paranormal happening now and getting more noticeable as time goes by is more in the open. so I love to read all the news and or mysteries…they are all fantastic…keep up the good work..Gloria

Every culture has its own set of symbols associated with different experiences and perceptions .
Pictures, drawings , gestures , clothing , cars, and other consumer items are symbols that imply a certain level of social status ect . To the human mind , symbols are representations of reality , precived status ect .

Simple stuff to undestand ? this is a lower level of reality .

Thru the ages travellers etc navigated by the Stars .

So those that create culture put the Stars/Actors/singers out there for the masses to follow and basicly donwload you with ideas ect .

Plato tells us all slaves would be forced to view all the latest plays ,
Actors/Stars would get on the Stage/Alter to push culture in a certain direction . Plato did nt want to entertain his slaves he was downloading them .

Add music to the mix and arcane things are known to happen . Music + lady ga ga + Stage/Alter = ga ga is raised up on high or altered . Ever notice how people act at a concert , its more then stupidity , fun etc . These' stars are put out there to alter culture ( the masses ) , convey messages ect .

Occult symbols do in fact exist , in doesn't matter if people are ignorant of the purpose of the symbols . But these symbols do exist and are there for a purpose .

The above is the basics and may spark some interest for some to look futher

People should always be very wary when its obvious that a star or a style of music etc is being marketed to the masses . Its not just about making loads of cash and entertaining you , i can assure you of that .
