I was confounded, confused and alarmed when Arron mentioned Ben’s adoption and leave.
I remember a while back when Ben said that his parents were coming to visit.
I was thinking to myself “They were planning this “surprise” for weeks! What a-hole parents would do such a thing? Ben needs to be on suicide watch. Why in the hell is “best friend Aaron” doing a show??? WTF!!! WTF!!! WTF!!!” Then came the music….oh the music. I wanted to reach though my itouch and strangle Arron. My Blood pressure spiked and I was ready to cry havoc and slip the the dogs of war.
Arron slyly reveled the prank. Blood pressure returned to normal.

I was really upset about it. I paused the podcast, right before the phony new music was played, and got out of bed and had some tea. It was a mixture of being worried about Benjamin, and dread of half the show being gone for a year. Now, mind you, I love Arron, and he’s my favorite, in fact, but the show needs both hosts to tango. After restarting, and during the music, I was too confused to contemplate what was being played.

Down with April 1st, but a great show, guys.

i felt horrible at the beginning, especially when the music started.. however when i heard the friday song i knew it was a set-up, but even then i thought the adoption thing was real until i realized both were talking, what a relief. love your guys’ podcast!
