Episode 817 – Mysterious Universe

Pack your bags MUFON because Ufology is dead according to your UK counterparts. Never mind your increasing number of sightings every month, the Brits have spoken.

We also feature the mysterious Black Knight satellite and its strange appearances in 1960 and earlier. Space junk, alien artefact  or a remnant from our forgotten past? Plus+ members will also discover the practice of “Left Hand Tantra” if they pay close attention.

  • The ‘UFO’ gallery of Assap clearly shows these guys are nothing but debunkers. Maybe we shouldn’t give them so much of our attention

  • PS: How’s this for a recent (and decent) UFO photograph? –not that it makes for incontrovertible proof, but it’s a damn good pic nonetheless.

My Grandpa was a radio man in the Army back in WW2 until the late 60’s. He was given orders to monitor a spot in the sky periodically with his radio equipment. (He was stationed in Alaska at the time.) He had a small group of friends that he would confide in and they would talk about the orders to monitor this area. He told me that after NBC and others had broken the news about the mysterious object in the sky (Black Knight as it was later called) he was visited by his old commanding officer who had given him the original order. The officer told him never to talk about any specifics of what his orders were or anything that he recorded. Admittedly, he told me he never picked anything up and wondered what all the fuss was about. He also told me that the small group of friends that he had in Alaska were all sworn to silence as well.

As well as your show I love the music you put out – you guys ( or who ever is in charge of the music) should check out ‘Soulection radio’ if you haven’t already , they put out mixes and tracks, deep house, future bass, soul etc really nice stuff, its a musical gold mine for me 🙂

oh for heaven’s sake……people stay to vote for the downballot issues! you know, we do have gov’t positions other than ‘the president’, plus referendums, etc.

    sheesh. steph

  • You know, that is a really good movie 🙂

    Great comment.

Hey guys, Philip K Dick wasn’t influenced by Von Daniken. His experiences are very interesting and not easily explainable, certainly not by dismissing it as a result of simply “drugs”. You should look more into him.

  • Agreed. I fully recommend Jeffrey Kripal’s Mutants & Mystics to learn more about Valis.

The U.S. Elections can be called when people are still in line to vote because the U.S. is (ostensibly) a republic rather than a democracy, so we have the Electoral College as a factor in the national elections for POTUS and VPOTUS.

As for FTL space travel, well….in my humble opinion, the people saying it’s impossible to do are free to keep yapping as long as they stay out of the way of the people who are getting it done.

Two cents from me. Another great episode guys, and the music is–as always–badass.
