    Re. the story of Zana, I think it’s important to point out that the main researcher of that case, Igor Burtzev, is the Russian anthropologist involved with the infamous Melba Ketchum DNA study. In fact he’s the one who blew the whistle on the alleged results of the study on Facebook.

    Regardless, Zana & her offspring remains one of my favorite Cryptozoology stories :)

    The thing that gets me on that story. There were multiple guys desperate enough to do it often enough with a hairy ape lady to have four kids? Plus, she wanted to do it with all of them? Only in Russia?

    400mg of Modafinil in one dose is on the high end (did see some people say they felt disassociated with that much). The documentation doesn’t seem to show any improvement with 400mg over 200mg. Regular dose for narcolepsy is 200mg in the morning, and 50mg to 100mg, morning and afternoon doses for “normal” folks (go with the minimum effective dose for your body).

    It would be interesting to see what happened with smaller doses for you.

    So strange, I’m listening to this episode for the first time, but i swear I’ve heard the entire intro conversation (about modafinil) before. How can that be if I’m listening to this episode for the first time right now? Is there a name for when this happens?
